There are three different types of turbochargers to suit Ford Transit 2.2L. They are:

P/N: 787556 (Rear Wheel Drive 2.2L)

P/N: 786680-0023 (Front Wheel Drive 2.2L)

P/N: 786880-0021 (Front Wheel Drive 2.2L)

How do we tell what turbo is the correct one for your Transit?

It's easy! First, if it is RWD, then the correct turbo is 787556. this turbo is also used in Ford Ranger 2.2L 2011-2015.

If it FWD, then the best way is to check the turbo part number on the original turbo nameplate. The other way to to check the plug position on the turbo electronic actuator. If you are not sure which is correct, please feel free to contact us and we are more than happy to help!
